Part 3. Smiling Eyes (Originally Also Called Magician )
The magician decided to go to town
It was a nice day to find his way around
All kinds of people, clean and dirty
No one really minded as long as you had money
Listening to the odd sound
Quietly looking all around
As he slowly ambled along
Tapping his staff, to a quietly sung song
On his way he met a child crying
Who’s cries of woe were loud and alarming
From behind the Childs ear
He pulled out a gobstopper
As the magician walked away
The child herd him say
I hate to hear a child cry
How nice to see a surprise in his eye
The magician had a spring in his step
No need to be sad or upset
The water giver knew he was something special
His over welcoming friendship was not intentional
The water giver could never be a leader
Therefore he needed to be a believer
He knew the man in front of him was special
Just like the lady with the glass crystal
The magician asked where he could get a good meal
The water giver said try Bella’s gut busters she’s a good deal
The magician thanked him and was on his way
Hunger was gnawing so he didn’t have a lot to say
The air smelt fresh and sweet
He took a deep breath, time to eat
Time for a nice meal
He was rather partial to veal
It wasn’t a problem to fine lady Bella’s place
It was nice and clean and she had taste
He entered to roars of laughter
The magician smiled as the laughter was heartier
This was a happy place to eat
Happy faces meant nice people to meet
Then his eyes rested on a lady of mystery
Intrigued he had to settle his curiosity
He asked if he may sit at her table, ever so politely
Without a flicker in her eyes she smiled ever so nicely
With a smile he sat down
Then stood up and removed his grey tunic gown
He was captivated by this mysterious lady
She knew and smiled sweetly
Secretly she adored his sweet frown
She knew he was her magician
As they looked at each other
Respect, admiration for each other
Eyes that were smiling
Secretly wishing wanting
The magician knew he had found his lady
They both knew they had found each other already
They sat across from each other laughing
Both knew that this day had been long in coming
Each thinking, no more fantasy no more dreaming
