SUMMER colds

I feel right miffed - somehow I have acquired a summer cold -


 

 Poor lass got a cold have  we,, two of my Granddaughters have to, I at the moment have not but I have been sneezing abit hay fever iv taken a tablet and seems ok now,well I had better get into the garden as I need to mow the lawn again so i'll bid you a good day Mrs P. take care lass. 

Me too Pandora...feeling pretty miserable   

Wasn't sure if it was hay-fever at first. Took allergy tablet [non drowsy formula] still knocked me out    just waiting for it to pass before I can start the car. Hope you soon feel better.

Bit Fuzzzzy today Pandora but I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. Oh no wait a minute its those hay-fever tablets wearing off, or its someone with a torch bringing me another box of tissues.

choc ices sooth a sore throat

 

still got this cold - the constant cough and running nose stops me from sleeping -

any ideas ???

have just rubbed vic on my chest and back and its made it worse

 

I had to admit defeat and go to the GP yesterday Pandora. Felt dreadful and struggling to breath after coughing. Have a nasty chest infection, something I never suffer, maybe once before in my life so far that I can recall. Have started course of penicillin. 

Maybe time for you to go as well, its lasting waaay tooo Long. Hope you have a better day and take care

I thought of ringing surgery yesterday - but didn't

 

 Looks in holds breath handkerchief over mouth and nose, makes a run for it  

 


Roll on Tuesday - my ribs ache from coughing - and I'm doing what I despise - spitting straight into a bucket -

I had to give up milk in my tea, it was making me worse, I spent a few days of putting slices of lemon in my tea and it did help plus sleeping with your head raised a bit higher helps too, I spent nearly a week of barely any sleep because of coughing, never have I experienced such a deep cough as that.
I still can't have milk in my tea but it doesn't bother me now, I've got used to the taste of black tea now

Honey is very good for soothing throats btw. xxxxx

Been Docs and have amoxicillin 500mg 1 3x a day.

I rang at half 8 - a Dr rang me in half hour for telephone triage - appointment at 10.10am - back home before 11am.

I don't wish to gloat but i never get full on colds.

the worst cold i've had is a slightly runny nose and dry eyes for a day or two.

I'm not complaining...

For being gloaty - I wish you the one us three appear to have suffered
