Hello, its Cloe's partner. As hopefully many of you knew my little Cloe, I have tried to keep you upto date with developments, and apologise deeply for the lack lately.
Cloe did come home after spending just over 3 months in hospital. She was dealing with the facts, that it would be a long road to recovery, I think deep down she knew. What she wasn't prepared for was that she would never walk again, and the damage in her leg was too much, and she would be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. That hit her hard, and major depression set in.
Cloe couldn't deal with the fact she would no longer do her job, the job she lived for, and I knew I always played second to her job. She was an amazing Paramedic, and one that will be missed.
Cloe unfortunately, couldn't deal with that anymore, and last Monday, I didn't realise I was going to say goodbye for the last time, by the time I returned home Tuesday, Cloe had taken an overdose, and was already dead by the time I returned home. Her colleagues said she had died quite a time ago, as she was very cold. It has taken me a while to come to terms with this, and I wasn't sure whether to tell you all, but I know Cloe would want you all to know. She always spoke highly of a few, and know she would love to of met some of you.
RIP Cloe, your out of pain now.
