| So anyway im getting to be a bit of a cook, ive left it late but no matter. This past Saturday i made us a cornish pasty, proper chips and peas..rammed it in me gob well quick. Im doing a curry at the weekend which im allready brilliant at, but im gonna do what i call "Yellow Rice" for a change. But how do you make yellow rice ? And its not big or clever to say "Pee in it" so please dont... Ewww.
Yours Sincerely

| Lol, to be honest that's what i first thought. Boiling rice is a complete pain, they do some great ready cooked pouches now, you can just shove in the microwave when the lady isnt looking | |

| Be careful with the turmeric - TOX said teaspoon - small teaspoon that is - or it tastes YUK !!! 1 cup basmati rice small teaspoon turmeric salt and 2 cups water bring to boil stir once and cover and simmer till water is evaporated and its all fluffy approx. 12 - 15 minutes.....just one way to cook from scratch then cover with cloth - it stays hot for quite a while | |
