Okies, been chatting with Beaver today, he's sent his love to us all, like us he's missing chatting and is patiently waiting for UKCB to return, he said he may pop in and give us all a fright but in the meantime this is our Beaver's Den for us to play in with a temporary beaver, never know our beaver might take a fancy to her.....or him

 Iv seen this film loads of times over here Niagra a good film, so I don't need to look for it, it will most probley pop up again one day on the goggle box to watch  again,our Telly over here is dam good at repeat programs  


  Oh and shall I say it now or keep my big gob shut   Nar   why not, right  
You over there call it Base ball we on the other hand maintain its an old game based on an old English game called Rounders  played as I did as a young lad in junior School and I believe played as long ago as King Henry v111 time 

A guy by the name of Doubleday invented the game of baseball as it is back in the 19th. century. Back at my old grade school as a youngster we had a student who's family moved over here from England. Kid by the name of Stewert Wells . We had a teacher that had a bit of creative streak in her from time to time and she organized a class game of Chricket -don't know if spelled correct. It was an interesting fun learning experience at that time. So at an early age we got to see and experience the similarities between the two versions of ball play.

However Beaver if you want to know more about the differences between the two games ,than you read into the rules of play ,there in the American version baseball you will see the thought put into the creation of baseball over here. I could go on and on about the differences and no doubt it took quite a bit to put that together.

Now, I dono -you could say baseball is somewhat of a refashioned version of cricket I suppose you cold say that. The similarities are clearly there,could be seen as defiantly although refashioned may be a more appropriate way about establishing where the game of baseball's orgins come from.

There are two versions of baseball over here Bev. fast pitch hard ball- where pitching is done in a over hand manner. And there is soft ball -the soft ball is much larger -bigger diameter around and somewhat cushioned -pitching is done underhanded-and two versions of the soft ball game-fast pitch and slow pitch ,both methods done underhanded.

Anywhoo I tell you want- I give yers credit fer creating the very root base of what became a national pass time over here across the pond !

  Cooweeee Niagra  chuck  yes I know base ball has differing aspects and rules to rounders and also I have played in my youth junior school days the game of soft ball   all im saying is as usual the good ole U.S.of A  takes a good look at some other Countries games of old and dose a cut and sow attack on it and before you know it a whole new set of rules and way of play is concocted,look at your game of Football why its called football I don't know as its more like the game of Rugby were by the ball is carried and passed and fought for, ok I here you say well our football is not football its soccer, yes and so it is,but  we don't call it soccer much any more not for donkeys years its football played the whole world over and yes that's right the ball is played ueeing the foot  with a boot on it and the ball is kicked into a goal using that boot on a foot hence the name FOOTBALL    And while we are on about changing the rules and coming up with some new versions of World games lets look at Football (SOCCER) we now see American Soccer teams finally now taking   part in world cup Matchs  and long may you do so,great joined the family at last,well when it was being introduced a little bird told us over here that you did not like the idea of a score ending in a draw,thats not American was the cry, a team  has to win or whats the point of playing  so yer tried to change the ruleing on the game didn't yer and yer even called it a different name yer started calling it by the name of a kick in the grass

  Mind Niagra  we do very much appreciate you lot coming up with the chair leaders  now that was a thing of Beauty well done my old son
