| The mad hatter is coming to tea He wants heart shaped buns and a camomile tea cosy The food should be right and the music lousy What else can you expect from gibbons with violins
The fat cats just sit in the sun and grin from ear to ear They give not a care and show no fear High up on the wall, a row of righteous tails sway Purrs permeate the haze of a lazy day
Upside down hares sit at upside down tables Cheeky monkeys are swinging from the gables Snakes use drainpipes for their ladders Venomous vipers and huge puffed up adders
Caterpillars still, but legs in motion Hippos wallow in a mud bath lotion Cheetah after chase, he stops and pants Burn him at stake! Yell the fire ants
King of the jungle, roars with delight Mrs black widow, shuns the daylight A complicated web of fibs and deceit Yet they all sing along to the jungle beat
And now for tea.

| Actually that would probably have a very good chance of being published for childrens poetry books, I can just imagine the pics of the animals doing all those things accompanying the poem | |

| I was asked once to do postcard stuff, and poetry for children, but just never followed it up. I lost touch with my English teacher and that was that | |
