It is always better in the evenings and thirst quenching too  

The evenings are just glorious at the moment, lovely time of the day, suits me just fine

 Hello Mayflower on night shift then are we, iv done a bit of that in my time, I all ways found it less stressful working at night for some unknown reason, my better half did not like it when I did them though she much preferred that I was with her at night, well I could not argue with that could I

Yes I have to agree, working nights is much nicer in many respects, although it can all depend on the quality of rest you get during the day. I tend to come home and start faffing about, thinking Oh I'll just do this   and then this- leads to that    and before you know it, its 2 o'clock     I love the mornings, so driving home can be delightful.

 May the sound of traffic, dogs barking, bird song, and kids going to school to the sound of police sirens playing their tunes, and the rattle of your letter box as the post man pay's a visit with his mainly junk mail   may they not disturb you at your hour of rest Mayflower

Well that made me L O L  Beaver ! do you actually know my street, as that's exactly what it sounds like when I'm on nights! Funny thing is...I finished my nights, so haven't been to bed....and you could hear a butterfly's wings flapping as it went by out there !   What the hell's all that about then ?   hmmmmm
I bet all those making all that        Are in bed On Nights eh !    right...time to cut the grass, Strim the edges, and take an inch off that door I've been having trouble with on the shed with a really annoying power tool, test my car alarm....and put in an hours 'Bagpipe' practice.
