Timeout yeah it is a tinggy bit chilly but iv got my thermals on so all's ok

It's really mild here. Just wet!!!!! 
Church bells were ringing this morning and the footy focus is on in the background. The beautiful game is the order of the day today

im thinking of a whacking session on the golf driving range then go check out the fishing clubs ponds see whats  coming out and have a chat with some of the lads

Oh im going fishing tomorrow. Dug out my old rod and good kick back on the bank somewhere.

I might give it a go on the Trent down East stoke way for some Barbel  next week,not been after them much this year,iv been mainly after carp in the clubs lakes

Yeah it's all carp these days. I like sea fishing just cant always get the time to get there. I really miss night fishing on the rocks/sea front.

 iv done abit of sea fishing myself, Bridlington and down Cornwall on the boats, and I use to go Beach casting on the Holderness coast spurn Head area after cod,whiteing flatties etc  in the winter and school Bass etc on the odd summer visit but im more into Carp, pike, zander, big chub,perch and Barbell,Carp and Barbell,zander in summer, pike,chub etc winter  mind these days I don't tend to go that far now,use to go all over the place at one time,one of my ex son in law's keeps wanting me to go carping over in France or after the Cat's on the Ebro in Spain,i fancy France one year with him and his group but the prospect of doing battle with a 100lb+ catfish sound a bit daunting to me now I think I would probley have a Heart attack on the bank now a days because even a good sized Barble or carp gets the old ticker pounding now so god knows about one of those big cats  

Oh you gotta go France my old mate. It's only a short hop across that small pond after all. Devon and Cornwall is great for sea fishing. I worked out of Scotland on a trawler for a season. Just couldn't get me sea legs on there though.
