I don't think many songs made a mark on me until years later, then a whole load did and songs from all eras...My Way, Dixieland, Memories, Telstar and many more

Tel star oh yeah,iv still got an old L.P.With that on it and many more that organ music was great wasn't it,not played that L.P for,well its got to be over 30 years now mind you need a record player to play it and they are a bit thin on the ground now.

Some of the 60s cd's have Telstar on them, tbh that was the one that made a mark on me from a very young age, never forgot it and always happy to hear it

Oh the record iv got is a gen original Tornado's L.P.with all their number ones on it all organ music like,on the front the lads are all there dressed in their drainpipe type suits,look funny now they do

It was a good tune, very different for that era, I remember The Shadows playing it, weren't bad but didn't beat the original

Yes I know,i use to play it quite a lot at one time,its in the bottom of my Mrs wardrobe along with a pile of other L.ps,and some of the Girls Madona L.Ps iv got the Rolling stones L.P that was recorded in Hyde park to,and Goats head soup L.P stuft in there some were

Goats head soup probley is a jamacan dish,but its also the name of a Rolling stones L.P.i bought it in the American P.X Berlin before it was released here in England and iv got it stuft in my wardrobe

Yes I know L.G.iv quite afew singles also,includeing nights in white satin and some Bee Gees singles,and one or two Beatles etc

I bet that would have been worth something today to a collector,mind it just depends I suppose just how many of which ever record has survived time,and the condition,some of mine have scratchs etc,some probley jump if played,but the record sleaves are all in pristine condition,and some people collect them to,im seeing pound notes now £££££

Beaver. One of my family brought a load of LP’s in a car boot sale, they were all in a box for 50p and he thought take a chance. He put them individually on E-Bay, and he had one album that 2 buyers wanted, one was from Japan and the other, USA. The album sold for £1500. The American won the album and asked if he could come personally and collect as he was in London, all the other albums went back in the box, I think he is still trying to sell them today. To be honest he does well selling and buying albums, I got £40 for a single do you remember Hawkwind Silver Machine

Hawkwind silver Machine silver Machine dose kind of ring a bell in mi old grey matter stumpy as for the value of any of the old records I have iv got no idea really I use to have loads more but my sister pinched a load well borrowed them and forgot to return them when I was away from home, still got a load left tho some were in the dark recesses of wardrobe and attic
