What Was The Best Thing About UKCB For You?

Was it the funniest post you had ever read?
The friends you made?
Or just having the company and chatting to ppl online?

For me it's the friends and the giggles, whenever I was feeling low, somewhere on UKCB,
there would be something that would make me smile or laugh

Do you think it will ever come back up on line-or is it damaged beyond repair ?

I'm hoping it will hon, someone heard from a chat mod that UKCB is re-vamping,
and it will be all new when back online...so we'll have to wait and see

This site seems to picking up momentum more everyday.
Thats a good thing.

You know what's occured to me today? When ukcb is online
we take it or leave it, but when it's offline, we miss it, shows
how we take things for granted really

Surprising the amount of comments by members missing it lol,, some are complaining now about the temp ones they are using, One woman got banned and moaned on FB lol
And a lot are now seeing what they missed compared to the offerings now available.
For a lot of people it becomes a habit, have to have a uckb withdrawal anonymous club ha ha UWAC.
If it comes back in a new format, I'll be totally surprised, only two years too late:)

I liked it for the friendship and fun, as well as the quips. That said, I'll miss this one if everyone leaves to go back to UKCB.

"SUKC" has a ring about it, don't you think? UKCB has become a verb, the verb "to UKCB", as in " I'm UKCB-ing at the moment". But sharpeyes LG will surely ban SUKC from becoming a verb!

I won't be closing this site down, so don't worry Wallace, it's good to keep if incase there's any future probs with UKCB, I just hope UKCB see it that way and don't think I'm trying to poach their members because the way I see it the more who know about this site the better, and if UKCB does have probs, ppl can come here and still be with their online pals instead of wandering through cyberspace looking for them

But tbh, if more ppl do join and it does get busy at times, then I will want to take a back seat completely because of my health prolems, which will leave me free to
just have a natter or come in if there's techy issues, so that will mean if it does become busy I will be looking for ppl who can be impartial to be mods and possibly another admin and no favouritism of members
will have to be in place also, so we'll wait and see

So keep your accounts, don't delete, keep your accounts as a safety net.

i made some good friends on ukcb it is good some of the nicer people not the nasties are on sukc

Yes I miss Poppy too, and her double entendres she unknowingly
makes in her posts sometimes

They used to have a "Viewed" box that said how many views there were, and then did away with the search function as well more recently.
Hopefully they will bring those back plus maybe a "Like " button,, but steady on,,,,miracles take longer :)

That is a problem with 2 sets of parents, and causes arguements, xmas can be so much fun
