Okies, been chatting with Beaver today, he's sent his love to us all, like us he's missing chatting and is patiently waiting for UKCB to return, he said he may pop in and give us all a fright but in the meantime this is our Beaver's Den for us to play in with a temporary beaver, never know our beaver might take a fancy to her.....or him    


    

Oh yea, I see what you mean, and it is indeed appealing ,I think here is a layed back state of mind . The city's growth has just about trippled in the past 30 years .Prior to that it was around 400,000 people .Layed back here is a very 60's early 70's kind of a cool that has held it ground in these here parts even after the influx people coming into the state for work. Micro Soft for one.Gate's lives just over the bridge !   

California retains the layed back state of mind originating out of the sixties and generated by home grown Californians.

 Thank's Niagra yeah home is were your Heart is true saying, that layed back 60s style sound's like my cup of tea I like that but like you my neck of the woods has also seen an influx of new people and its taking some getting use to, the City I grew up in has changed a lot over the past few years and call me an old un if you like but I much preferred the old City as far as the people go but I must admit I do like the modern City now if we could just combine the people of Old with the City of now that would do nicely, some of my old hunting grounds have fallen under concrete now and I am not happy with that, but I don't have to travel to far to find my peace in the open spaces I love so all is not to bad. 

People here state wide are not going to let that layed back life style become mowed over by population growth. Where they came from is not where they are now and not much if any of it ever will be. 

However what one brings into the mix can and is an asset when it works it's way in the right way about it. As the saying goes and I said it first ! how it is done in Chicago can keep blowing in the Chicago winds ,it just a bit different here .

    So by the looks of things even you lot are suffering Defence Cuts   

 Its sad to see this its been going on far to long,there is enough land for every one to live in peace, just look at the size of Syria, Egypt, that flank Israel on each side, surly if the will to live in peace is truly envisaged then Boarders need to be redrawn to accommodate all who live in this land, and the Arabs need to recognise Israel's right to live in peace amongst them, if they all laid down their arm's and put their efforts into redrawing the map to suit every one then all can live within their own lands free from conflict, or is that to simple for them to comprehend, and prefer to wage war and then blame each other for the on-going killings  and destruction.  Iv heard it said before, that if the Arabs laid down their arms then there would be peace, if Israel laid down its arm's there would be no Israel ????   

so true and a sad sight it is.
