| Schindler's List I saw some years ago, and yes it's an excellent film and very thought provoking as well. Tox if I started listing my fave films I'd be here all night, the majority of them are horror films | |

| Pandora should look up Mr Hollands Opus, Richard Drefuss plays Mr Holland, it's a really nice and emotional film Tox Carrie's a good one, I've seen that film so many times Okay... Orphan....good twist at the end. The Day After Tomorrow...makes you think. 28 days Later and Sean of the Dead | |

| I watched it. The only film i have watched for about 6 months!. Thought provoking. Very accurate. The whole idea is just hard for most even comprehend. It still needs to be taught, so that something on that scale never happens again. 4 million people! And that is an underestimate by some margin. | |

| hi Pandora..and co
I must have watched Schindlers list about 10 times. Not usually a Hollywood film fan but this one was brilliant. Israel made Oscar Schindler a 'Righteous man' which is no mean feat for a German. I've read Hundred of books and seen even more documenturies on WW11, in particular on the subject of Auschwitz,Belsen,Berkenau etc.. I first wondered how man could inflict so much pain and suffering on fellow man,and how the Jews managed to survive another day... I'm nowhere near old enough to be around at the time but for years i've read/watched about it daily. I can't even comprehend how anyone taking part in the atrocities could sleep at night...

| I recommend "The Pianist" - which also has wrenched my heart....
and "The Boy in the Striped Pjamas" - though the book - I think - is better.

| Going back to Schlinders List, isn't it amazing nearly all those Nazi war criminals ended up going into hiding, different names and ended up with really good jobs with a handsome salary?? To me, when they eventually get caught, it's not that a great justice considering they've spent many years in comfort | |

| Hon if there was a higher power they would've been made to suffer for their atrocious crimes many years ago | |

| The nazi hunters are still ahunting - however old the criminals.....
they caught and executed some - brought some to court - and all the while these criminals could never relax - they probably slept with an eye open - always having to move - to change identities - never knowing who was a friend or an executor.....

| A lot of them still had a nasty attitude though, they behaved indignant at the fact they were in court....they should have been kept prisoners when the troops went in to the camps and found all the evidence, and those Nazis suffer and execute them, the ones they had already I mean. The horrors of the holocaust not only affected the Jews who were in the camps, but their families, and that horror has lived and been passed on through the generations. | |
