That's really sad because there are children out there who feel unloved and think they don't meet up to the parents approval...I should think honey in that poem you've described a lot of emotion and feelings that these kids go through....well done xoxox

i think sometimes people want to be different to be the person they keep locked inside
sometimes its easy to put a toe in the water of bein that person just enough to say yes i am who i am but at the same time bein who people expect us to be

kinda pretendin to not conform fearin the scorn or sighs of others
but to pretend to urself to satisfy others is just a lie to urself
the "its just a phase she or he is goin thru"
it sometimes takes that brave step to say "noi this is the real me" n walkin away from that wich u are supposed to be

We're being being conformed from the moment we're born hon, then when we get to the age of 13 or 14 we begin to rebel, and this is a cycle that will keep going on for a very long time.

i think i was five or six when i started to be more tomboy loads of grazed knees n climbin trees n walls n stuff n 12 when i started to slide into bein more n more gothic 14 i think i was safely walkin the gothic path bouncy goth

i always had shortish hair when i was young its shortish now again i went thru a longer phase but not sure its me so it stays shoulder long at most
