The Bacon sarnie

Ode to the bacon butty
that tantalizing morsel
that gift from the Gods
even the smell of crispy
bacon,enthrawls you
mistyfies and clouds
the mind,irisistable
the lure almost to much
majestic as it mates up
against the sausage
makes love with tomatos
rides the high baked bean
adorns two slices bread
sends contentment within
satisfies ones soul
the saving grace of the
good old Sarnie.

Now I want a bacon butty and I haven't any bacon 

 Two doorstep Bloomer Bacon, egg and Mushroom Sarnies this morning, even a crocodile would have had difficulty getting it in its mouth  but I did justice to them and washed them down with a mug of Tea well brewed followed by a second

 

 Don't cry L.G. it was ever so nice you know,i even licked mi fingers,then the Telly broke

......is there some kind of moral justice here

It looks like its my Freesat that may be to blame, may have seen its day, might have to buy another one, one of my Girls has one she don't use so im going to fetch it connect it to my Telly and see if it works, if it dose then its deffo the sat box, so a new one is needed, looks like the chap who put me two Ariel lines and a duplex box on my Ariel  for the bedrooms kind of left connecting up my living room Telly to it, just left it connected to the sat dish instead   Just when you needed it Dam it.

OOOO - sexy sandwich

I had 2 bacon sandwiche's today then tonight I had a cauliflower with cheese and bacon in the oven. Loads left for tomorrow. Magic

OoOoh had bacon tonight for tea, was delicious Not something I eat very often, so it was a nice treat.
Is it me, or is it much more salty tasting these days. I was choking with thirst by the time I'd washed up the dishes.

Cold and very wet here this morning   Put the heating on, and the lamp, as its dark too
The dog had a quick trot around the garden as well, no time for sniffing this morning, too wet !

Yesterday was simply 'Glorious' so no complaints
