Computer advice required please !!!

I can log onto/into everything except "Hotmail" - it just says "page can't be displayed" -

can anyone advise ???

If you mean the old m.s.n Hotmail it's been taken over by Outlook honey, I had the same problem and Tox advised me to sign in or up to Outlook which I did and was then able to read my Hotmail and recover my m.s.n contacts, the only problem is....Outlook is with Skype which I uninstalled as Skype doesn't seem safe to me.

I use Gmail now and the added advantage of Gmail and emails you get you can choose to sync it with your mobile so no need to load up the pc to read your emails

Thanku for responding - I noticed it changed to outlook a while back - no problems till today

I don't know when mine had changed as I started using Gmail ages ago, but when I tried to login to Hotmail and couldn't I was fuming!

I got a link from a friendly soul on the "Hotmail forum" but I STUPIDLY couldn't find my password - so have set up a new outlook account as a way to retrieve my password - takes @ 24 hours unless they need more information.

You're not a twit, there should've been an option to choose if you wanted to go with Outlook but no our hotmails were hijacked with all our mails and contacts 

I've GOT IT BACK !!!!!!

I feel clever !!!!!

and I now have 2 more e-mail accounts !!!!

Hotmail was "upgraded" - its still showing not available -

BUT PANDY got it !!!

   and so quick too! 

and without a password !!!!!

Outlook did it for you?

I don't know - I didn't write down how it got back - at one point they sent me a reset code for one I'd opened

 

Think outlook still having problems - but am ok - receiving all alerts from this forum/sainsburys - for tomorrow 

But you got it back so you should be able to access it on Outlook now

Don't forget to change your email addys on any online accounts you have if you're going to use gmail 

ONE e-mail is enough for me.

I just don't know my password.

Outlook should send apology emails to all those who suffered stress and dispair at the apparent loss of their hotmail 

except it'll be an empty apology when you can't even access

Actually - I honestly don't know - I'm only a novice computee.

Now I have 4 e-mails - but - 1 - outlook - is unavailable.....and ALL the passwords are written down

I had Hotmail and it went Down twice, never Again, you can change your e-mail a friend changed over to g-mail, and he was asked for his old Hotmail and he got all his contacts from Hotmail over to his g-mail, i never though, good luck

All sorted now.  If it goes again - it'll be the 3rd time - and I will transfer EVERYTHING.
