|  In my arms, I held you, my beautiful baby boy,
never did I know, that heartache,
would soon replace my joy,
so many times, over and over again,
I ask myself....
"Why?",
I whisper your name...
and my heart is breaking as I cry.
You are my little angel,
you are my shining light,
I'm waiting to walk towards you,
and hold you in my arms, so tight.
so wait for me my baby,
for when the embracing sun shines bright,
our journey home will be together,
hand in hand,
walking up that stairway...
to heaven's warm light.

| Thanks  it's not a new one, I had posted it a couple of years ago on ukcb. A close friend encouraged me to talk about the day he died, and it was very difficult to do, but with the encouragement...I did, and after I wrote a poem about that day, but I won't be posting it here or you'll all be throwing ropes over the rafters to hang yourselves  | |
