I was going to lay a foundation for my summerhouse in the next few months Miik..

I may hold off for a while and see what happens now.

For tax evading reasons I could install a radiator and call it a sauna.. it might just work.

Window tax
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

The window tax was a property tax based on the number of windows in a house. It was a significant social, cultural, and architectural force in England, France and Scotland during the 18th and 19th centuries. To avoid the tax some houses from the period can be seen to have bricked-up window-spaces (ready to be glazed at a later date), as a result of the tax. It was introduced in 1696 and was repealed in 1851, 156 years after first being introduced. Spain and France both had window taxes as well for similar reasons.

Cameron is taking this country back in time, and with the bedroom tax being applied to ppl in social housing I'm surprised the child protection agencies haven't kicked in...forcing children to share a bedroom regardless of their sex is taking a child's right away of having personal privacy, especially a brother and sister that are forced to share until the age of 16...a 13yr old boy sharing with his 10/11yr old sister??? Children can start puberty from the age of 9yrs old ffs!!!

A disabled child forced to share their bedroom, a child that needs 24/7 care, their right to their own privacy and their personal dignity is being taken away..... now someone is welcome to correct me, but Cameron is going against the Human Rights Act by doing what he's doing, or does a British Government have the power over the Human Rights Commission to be extempt from the the Human Rights Act??

Btw, something that they're not informing ppl, any spare bedroom that measures under 9ft by 7ft is classed as a boxroom not a bedroom and cannot be taxed...

I thought it was pretty bad when i first heard about the bedroom tax, then i listened to a mate of mine, telling me how his mum lived on her own in a 3 bedroomed house, and most of the house was never used only if her son came home for a holiday, made me wonder why she stayed there, all alone. I don’t know what to make of all this, but Cameron is taking England back in time, just like Thatcher wanted, the question is what party will do whats best for the people, and not their own personel wants or whims
